TERMS OF REFERENCE

Human Research Ethics Committee Terms of Reference

The Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) assesses and, where approved, provides ethical clearance for research projects involving individuals, human materials or records. This includes research projects undertaken by:

a)         Avondale University staff and students as researchers;

b)         Avondale University staff and students as participants; and

c) Researchers from institutions with a current Memorandum of Understanding with Avondale University’s HREC.
